Nashville = City of Music

Look that is Elvis on the roof.

Photos were taken in downtown Nashville in the Broadway Street area. Similar to New Orleans Bourbon Street but with more music. Blue, Jazz and Country music can be found in the local taverns. In most cases no cover charge. Leave a tip in the bucket for the band or buy their CD is how they make their money. Good music and food was easy to find. We had our best time at the BB King music club. ..dinner and two very good bands. We were impressed on how good the locals can dance in Nashville. They are ready for "so you think you can dance" show. No way Carolyn or I would get up there and do our two step. Besides the Broadway street entertainment Nashville has a lot of culture and managed to save the old town and build a new business district. Drive around and their are other activities and some very impressive neighborhoods. Hard to believe there is a recession in this town.
